Photography, Art & Travel
by David Mythen
I would like to welome you (back hopefully) to my newly updated hobbist photography, art and travel portfolio site
A Brief Intro
I love travelling when I can, discovering exciting places, exploring and hunting a moment to capture while on the road. This hobby of mine is only at its beginnings but I am very excited to see where this journey shall take me. With this - I decided whilst developing my photography and photo editing skills, that I would love to share my work with you.
I have always held a facination in life for two things, travelling and visuals. This project of mine - is finally, a place where I can share and express this passion. Ever the analytical me, I used to be wholly focused on work with follow on analytical hobbies - however the years have shown that there is a creative side that deserves exploring and with this hobby of mine, I am starting on a truly exciting and enriching journey which I shall glady share with you via my photography and art. Should you like to share, in touch or request permission to re-use my content please dont hesitate to email me using the email/contact function on any of the pages of this site
Some Technical Notes
Regarding the technical aspects - Im only getting started and for me, I do like to mix it up in terms of what is percieved as photography or art - I will leave the destinction to you for your enjoyment. What I do standardise though is that all images are taken by me unless otherwise state and are developed via Luminar / PhotoShop with either a minimal or artistic approach taken.
Delivery of what you see on my site is done by processing my RAW/DNG/JPEG/HEIC source material to finalised TIFF (ProPhoto) files before it is published here as JPEG (sRGB). I use two monitors with the following colour spaces in use: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 in HDR Mode (Primary) and Display P3 (Secondary) at 400 nits per monitor
Finally
I would just like to thank you for visiting my site. I hope that you are enjoying the content shared by me to you here
