Moscow Memories

/

A walk down memory lane is sometimes therapeutic. I feel so at least. The following collection of photographs / digital art are based on my photographs from my two visits to Moscow in Russia in 2013 and 2016

While times have very much changed over the past decade between east and west, the beauty of the place coupled with its steep rich history has not been lost on me even now

The people are direct and passionate to a point of true friendship or volatility. A loyal emotive people, even to a fault at times. Very different to the more reserved nature of those of us from the British Isles. So I share this content with you, the viewer – with no political connotations or conversation

I share it with you, a place I explored, enjoyed, made friends and met love in its first true form within the scope of my life up to that point

I do have more stories on the above for another time but well, what I can share now is a simple set of creatively subjective portraits / snapshots of one of the most interesting and engaging places that I have ever journeyed to

Enjoy!

Note:

This is a multi-month project adding and processing my photography / digital art so feel free to return any time over the next few months

And yes, I added in a couple of pictures from the metro as well, never seen anything like it in any metro that Ive used across my travels and thats saying something…
